This past year, we published over 160 videos containing all or part of our interviews with entrepreneurs, creatives and investors as well as events that we produce and those that we cover. Outside of our Big Omaha video series, in which some videos receive tens of thousands of views, are most-watched video of 2010 came from an interview with Omaha native Scott Henderson at South by Southwest Interactive. In the interview, Henderson demonstrates how the SXSW Interactive cause, We Can End This, was using the beta version of the Square mobile payment system. It was a great opportunity for a video as Square was just beginning to be seen out in the wild.

As we look to 2011, we have a goal of increasing our volume of written profiles of individuals and releasing videos of snippets from those interviews in the days following. We aim to cover more events and announcements, and release those videos in a more timely manner. Video is a something we’ve used from the very beginning and we’ll continue to use it as much as possible, but we’re also dedicated to increasing the amount of editorial content.
