@BadBanana sparks a good Twitter trend: #NewNebraskaSlogan

Not yet a trending topic, likely not even close, but tweets from around the world have begun pouring in with the hashtag #NewNebraskaSlogan. And it appears a tweet around 7:15 p.m. from Tim Siedell of Lincoln, Neb.-based Fuse Industries, @BadBanana on Twitter, is at the genesis of it.

Siedell, whom Twitter co-founder Biz Stone once said was his favorite person to follow, has added four of his own to the stream. In addition to the orginal one above, he's tweeted: "You Forgot About Us Again, Didn’t You?" "That Smell is Iowa" and "America’s Vast, Pasty Midsection".

Hey, maybe this all a grand scheme to help our state give itself a new slogan, something recently proposed by the co-founders of another Lincoln creative shop, Archrival, in their talk "FLYOVER". The most recent slogan introduced by the state's tourism department was "Possibilities ... Endless" in 2003.

For humor's sake, let's hope this hashtag doesn't end anytime soon.
