You really can never go wrong when it comes to watching a video of TED talk. Yet this one from Simon Sinek ranks among my all-time favorites. Sinek, an anthropologist by trade, quit his day job in advertising at Sinek Partners in 2002 in the hopes of rediscovering his excitement about life and work. Des Moines The popular TED conference series is coming to Des Moines in the form of TEDxDesMoines. TEDx is TED's series of licensed, locally-organized independent events taking place all over the world. TEDxDesMoines is scheduled for Sunday, May 16 in the State of Iowa Historical Building (600 E. Locust).
