This Friday there’s an amazing conference taking place in San Francisco called the Startup Lessons Learned conference. Hosted by Eric Ries, the Startup Lessons Learned (SLL) conference is the first event focused soley on learning how to build lean startups. From its site:

Startup Lessons Learned is the first event designed to unite those interested in what it takes to succeed in building a lean startup. The goal for this event is to give practitioners and students of the lean startup methodology the opportunity to hear insights from leaders in embracing and deploying the core principles of the lean startup methodology. The day-long event will feature a mix of panels and talks focused on the key challenges and issues that technical and market-facing people at startups need to understand in order to succeed in building successful lean startups.

The conference costs $750 to attend, and, as mentioned above, will be taking place in San Francisco. Fortunately, for those of us who are not able to make the trip, the nice folks at the SLL conference will be live-streaming the event and are encouraging people to host viewing parties.

Silicon Prairie News and BrightMix will be hosting the viewing party in Omaha. We’ll set up a projector and will plan on watching the conference all-day on Friday. Stop by for all or part of the day, we’d love to have you!
