Santa Clara At noon today Cedar Rapids startup RecBob will take the stage at DEMO, VentureBeat's semiannual showcase of startups and new products in Santa Clara, Calif. After earning the opportunity through a Startup America Partnership contest, RecBob joined the roster of more than 75 companies that will deliver a six-minute pitch on stage and have spot in the event's expo hall. Cedar Rapids RecBob is celebrating its first birthday with a trip to DEMO. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa-based startup, which was founded one year ago at Startup Weekend Iowa City, has been selected to present at DEMO Fall 2012, which takes place Monday through Wednesday in Santa Clara, Calif. Employee benefits almost always focus on the employee's quality of life, and in recent years, that's included perks around the office as well. First, when we shared the product idea with others, their reactions confirmed that the pain point existed and that we would be addressing a real problem.
