Previously applications for the annual “Get in the Ring: The American Startup Clash” pitch competition were limited to American citizens. But that’s no longer the case.
As of last week, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation has expanded the eligibility requirements for the competition to include anyone who is “legally present in the United States pursuant to a visa or other document that permits you to work for and operate your business,” according to Get in the Ring guidelines.
Applications are open through Aug. 15 and U.S. semi-finalists will be announced in early September.
