Des Moines For Paloma Velazquez, writing HTML is a pretty big shift from her previous writing experience. Last May she graduated from Grinnell College with degrees in English and political science. Des Moines BitMethod is go for launch on its mission at Mars. Mars Cafe, that is. BitMethod, a Des Moines-based web and mobile app development shop, will celebrate the release of its new product, Change, with a shindig from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday at Mars Cafe. The event will also serve as a celebration of BitMethod's third birthday. BitMethod has worked with Mars, a Dogtown district cafe, during the development of Change, a restaurant and retail management system with an iPad-based point-of-sale.
