Des Moines The popular TED conference series is coming to Des Moines in the form of TEDxDesMoines. TEDx is TED's series of licensed, locally-organized independent events taking place all over the world. TEDxDesMoines is scheduled for Sunday, May 16 in the State of Iowa Historical Building (600 E. Locust). The Des Moines event will be a combination of videos of past talks put on by internationally acclaimed speakers at the original TED conference series in California as well as live talks from some of Iowa's most interesting and innovative people. read more
