Omaha They haven't mastered programming in 12 weeks, but 13 Omaha Code School students have learned enough to be ready for the real world, says instructor Sumeet Jain. It was the first batch of students to go through the city's first coding school, and while there were no caps and gowns, Friday's graduation ceremony was full of pomp and circumstance. Students demoed their projects, Hello Holiday co-founder Megan Hunt gave a commencement address and students received diplomas. read more

That's two billboards in less than six months for the sports playbook management tech company based out of Lincoln. This one cropped up this week at 24th and Cuming streets, promoting a push for hiring in its new Omaha office, set to open in August. read more

Omaha The second and last Omaha Chamber Startup Event Draft of 2014 is Thursday at 7 p.m. at Aromas in Benson. The Draft is similar to the first one that took place In February, in which community members slot Chamber-sponsored entrepreneurial events on the calendar.
