Silicon Prairie college students: Volunteer for Big Kansas City

Big Kansas City is headed into its second year, and we want to give a few lucky college students the opportunity to experience Big Kansas City as volunteers. If you are a self-motivated, hardworking student with an interest in the entrepreneurial community of the Midwest, then you are the perfect candidate!

We’re heading into year two of Big Kansas City, and looking forward to sharing your stories and those of our speakers over the next few weeks. All of this wouldn’t be possible without our content partner, Pinsight Media+. They are a pioneer in mobile media with deep entrepreneurial roots. Their team brings leadership, experience and global awareness to Kansas City’s booming startup community. To learn more or talk with our friends at Pinsight, email Serge Bushman, sbushman@pinsightmedia.com.

Throughout the event you’ll be tasked with setting up venues, selling merch, directing attendees, helping at registration, cleanup and a number of other crucial items that keeps the conference running smoothly.

We love our Big Kansas City volunteers and want to make sure that they are positively impacted by this one-of-a-kind experience. In exchange for the heaps of hard work put in during the event, volunteers will receive a free ticket t-shirt, breakfast, snacks, Red Bull, interactions with potential future employers and a chance to meet and chat with the awesome speakers we’re bringing in this year. They’ll also get to catch a few of the talks.
