Company: Yosko
Elevator pitch: Yosko delivers a mobile collaboration platform for doctors and nurses that addresses the No. 3 killer in the U.S.: preventable medical errors.

Biggest accomplishment/connection during the program? We are the first company that has developed a Google glass app that is fully integrated with a major EHR. Right in front of your eyes you can see the patient’s entire medical record.

Mind-blowing moment or self realization about your business over the last 90 days? Doctors love our apps while hospital administrators still prefer to use pagers and fax machines! This needs to change.

Words of wisdom for the next class? Persistence, persistence and persistence. You will hear more no’s than yes’ but keep going with passion and determination. There are still plenty of people who want to help you get there and you just need to find them.

What is the one thing you miss the most from your home town? Spanish paella and Bulgarian shopska salata.

Your team has just been elected as the Mayor of KC… first order of business? Encourage doctors and medical students to be entrepreneurs so that the much needed “creative destruction” of medicine happens.

Kansas City’s best kept secret… The cocktails at Snow & Co. Yum.
