Over the past few weeks, numerous events have cropped up in conjunction with Big Omaha, and we couldn’t be more excited. To complement and reinforce the energy surrounding the conference, these events further the impact of Big Omaha not only for attendees but also the local entrepreneurial scene.
The push for these pop-up events began with the “Collisions Garage” put on by Big Omaha sponsors The Garage by Aviture and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. They will be offering two days of co-working (and free coffee) at Aromas Coffeehouse May 8 and 9. This event offers a perfect place to see the local startup scene, as they are invited for a few hours or the day to work. Out-of-town guests and speakers are invited to check out the crowd across the street, and non-ticket holders are welcome to tap into the energy surrounding Big Omaha.
Silicon Prairie News co-founder Jeff Slobotski says the biggest challenge is what happens after Big Omaha and carrying that energy through to make things happen.
