What brought you to Big Omaha?

I’ve been to things like this on the coasts, but I wanted to go to a regional event. I had a friend who attended this event in the past, so I asked her what she thought I should go to. She told me to go to Big Omaha because of its strong entrepreneurial spirit. I’m taking this as an experiment because I don’t know anyone, and it’s been freakin’ awesome.

What are you most excited for?

The quality and depth of conversation has been phenomenal. People aren’t just interested in handing out business cards or giving their pitch. They want to find something they have in common with other people.

What do you hope to take away?

I’m not looking for a new idea, I’m looking for relationships. Meeting awesome people is my general role in life, and it’s already been a successful two days. I’m a connector of people. I love connecting people I know with people that can help them or need their help.
