No matter the genre, music attaches us to our experiences. It adapts to the stages of life, becoming our soundtrack while having the ability to motivate, comfort, delight and inspire us. It may most easily play unnoticed in the background, but it’s front and center to someone like DJ Skee

Over the past decade, DJ Skee has helped shape the popular music scene. Named to Billboard magazine’s influential “Power Players: 30 Under 30″ in 2010, he has collaborated with artists such as Jay Z, Katy Perry, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg and more. After beginning his radio career at 16, DJ Skee now reaches millions each day. His show debuted in 2008 on KIIS-FM, Los Angeles’ most listened-to station, and can be heard daily from 5-10 p.m. on Sirius XM Radio’s “Hip Hop Nation.” Syndications have popped up around the world, giving him a reach that is nearly unmatched.

DJ Skee’s influence stretches past the world of music. He has been the driving force behind marketing campaigns for companies such as Daimler-Chrysler, Beats by Dre and T-Mobile. He also owns a retail store, Tradition, in Beverly Hills. Since 2006, Tradition has provided urban street-style clothes and accessories for the celebrity population, gaining a fierce reputation for great customer service.

He brings this wide-ranging wisdom with him to Big Omaha, offering insight into his experience fostering a large and passionate online community. Want to experience his work today?
