Our days are filled with small tasks that eat up lots of time. Making coffee, searching for keys, setting alarms and thermostats, feeding pets, the list goes on. These daily to-dos swim in and out of our minds, consuming even more seconds, minutes and hours.

Andrew Brooks, COO and co-founder of SmartThings, wants to give homeowners peace of mind by removing daily distractions. By connecting users to their home, the team at SmartThings believes that everyday objects around us can do more to improve our lives.

A safer, smarter home begins with a mobile app and a single SmartThings Hub. In as little as 15 minutes, individuals can use their phones to control speakers, lights, security systems, thermostats and a long list of appliances. Beyond controlling the settings of each appliance, SmartThings has the ability to remember the unique routine of each user. Hundreds of devices from brands such as GE, Trane, Honeywell and more have become SmartThings compatible since the company’s launch in 2012.

After years of experience in varying corporate and startup environments, Andrew began SmartThings to implement his gained knowledge surrounding design, sales, marketing and operations. All of which he’ll bring to his talk at Big Omaha in May.

We invite you to join Andrew and the other 14 Big Omaha speakers this May 7-9. Claim your spot today at BigOmaha.com.
