Over the past decade, Ellen has gained extensive experience developing the conversation and examining the compelling juxtaposition of the incline in both starvation and obesity. Food Tank, FEED, The 30 Project and Change Dinner haveall been endeavors she has initiated in the effort to modify the perception and understanding of the malnutrition discussion.
Environmentally sustainable solutions for hunger, obesity and poverty are topics all researched and addressed by Food Tank, and the well-known bags can be purchased to aid in the support of malnourished children by providing several meals with each purchase. Over the past 30 years, both obesity and starvation rates have risen across the world, and 30 Project is making the effort to more fully understand that topic. As if all the research and awareness of food systems wasn’t enough, Ellen also is working to modify the current system by which the world is fed through Change Dinner.
By increasing awareness and impacting the understanding and actual implementation of food systems across the world, Ellen has changed the perception of processes associated with feeding the world population.
