Digital Sandbox is providing proof-of-concept resources to six more early-stage companies, appropriating the last of the initial funds from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s two-year grant announced September 2012. The companies—BigBang, ClaimJockey, Genneo, Phisionary, Your Adoption Finance Coach and Zorilla Research—bring the total that have received funding to 40. Since February, Digital Sandbox has worked with more than 150 companies in some form through the program. “It’s clear that the Digital Sandbox’s proof of concept funding fills a need in the marketplace,” director Jeff Shackelford said in a press release. “We’ve seen some amazing companies come out of the woodwork to pursue these early stage project funds, and we are working very hard to continue what we’ve started. In the meantime, we can offer great connections and solid resources to startup tech companies.” — Source: Digital Sandbox
