Tuesday night we made it out to the Green Lady Lounge in downtown Kansas City, Mo., for our last meetup of the year. Throughout the evening we caught up with around 85 entrepreneurs and creatives, in addition to Mayor Sly James.

The Kansas City community has been an exciting one for us to enter into and continue partnering with this year. As we look back on 2013, it was just over a year ago that we hired Regan Carrizales as a community manager before she stepped up to be our CEO in July. Since then we have also brought on two more Kansas City team members—managing editor Fred Bauters and operations manager Jean Nobile.

Everyone in the community has shown continued support throughout the past year, and we are lucky and grateful to be a part of what is happening in Kansas City.

Without further adieu, here are a few photos from Tuesday’s meetup (you can find more of them on Facebook). Have a great holiday season and see you in 2014!

Drinks were had and connections made in the swank confines of the Green Lady Lounge.
