The final teams are chosen to move forward on their ideas at the eighth Startup Weekend Kansas City.
The eighth Startup Weekend Kansas City is underway—this time on the Kansas side of the line—with final presentations starting at 4 p.m. today; thirteen teams formed from 36 original presentations.
Like Des Moines’ event, which will wrap with presentations at 5 p.m. today, Startup Weekend Kansas City is part of the Global Startup Battle. The online battle pits Startup Weekend winners from this weekend against each other in a bracket-style competition for the chance at thousands of dollars in prizes—all part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.
