With the acquisition of big data platform InfoChimps, Omaha’s Dundee Venture Capital announced earlier this week that the organization experienced its first exit from Fund II.

Dundee first became involved with InfoChimps through a $2.2 million Series A round in November 2010, according to CrunchBase. InfoChimps was acquired by CSC, a $15 billion information technology services company.

Dundee Venture Capital has a portfolio that includes Silicon Prairie companies MindMixer, Leap2 and DivvyHQ. In June, the venture capital firm launched Straight Shot, a new startup accelerator with an inaugural class that runs through the beginning of October.

We’ve reached out to Dundee for more information and will update the story when we hear back.
