On Tuesday evening Rachael Qualls, founder and CEO of Kansas City’s Angel Capital Group, stepped down in order to focus her attention fully on Venture360. A spinoff of Angel Capital Group, Venture360 is a portfolio tracking system for investors and angel groups that SPN covered when it launched earlier this year. Qualls, who will remain involved with the Kansas City investment firm as its majority investor and board chairwoman, is working with Venture360 to raise $2 million to expand the organization’s services. “It was the next challenge,” Qualls told the Kansas City Business Journal. “I feel like I contributed about as much as I can creatively on how the Angel Capital Group model is going to evolve.” Qualls named Eric Dobsen, the firm’s COO, as her successor. — Source: Kansas City Business Journal
