When we put together our list of the “50-plus Nebraska startups to follow on Twitter” last month, we made a note that established companies such as Hudl weren’t listed because they were no longer in startup mode. That was validated by today’s news that the video software company for sports teams has been ranked No. 149 on the Inc. “5000 list” of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. That mark makes them tops in Nebraska—growing at 2,535 percent from 2009 to 2012—with sales of $14.1 million last year, up from $536,183 in 2009. More than 13,000 schools use its football software and more than 6,000 use its basketball products. Since the end of 2012 alone, the company has gone from 73 to 104 employees. — Source: Lincoln Journal Star
