The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation today announced a $500,000 grant to William Jewell College, a liberal arts school in Liberty, Mo., to enhance the school’s entrepreneurial culture on campus. It will be distributed over a three-year period to develop a “sustainable environment of innovation,” according to a press release. Plans include a professor of innovation position to administer new curriculum, internal grants to students and faculty, an Innovation Center and a venture capital fund for student startups.
