State-funded venture capital organization Invest Nebraska recently announced it put an undisclosed amount into Lincoln, Neb.-based Pro-Fit Performance Club Fitting, a company constructing a club-fitting software system. “Pro-Fit has been able to effectively deliver an entirely new club buying experience,” Invest Nebraska CEO Mark Crawford said in the organization’s release. Crawford’s organization also recently invested $500,000 in Omaha surgical device company Trak Surgical. One the biggest factors behind the investment, Crawford said, was the resume of the company’s CEO, Bruce Lichorowic, a 30-year serial entrepreneur from Silicon Valley. — Source: Invest Nebraska
