Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation CEO Tom McDonnell will be joined by Kansas Sen. Jerry Moran and others today in Washington, D.C. for the Kansas City, Mo.-based organization’s fourth annual State of Entrepreneurship Address.
Following the 30-minute address at 11 a.m., a five-person panel at noon is expected address challenges and opportunities in financing new and young companies.
At last year’s event, Kauffman Foundation interim president and CEO Benno Schmidt focused on reducing state and local legal and regulatory barriers standing in the way of new and young companies.
