The daylong event includes a pitch session featuring the entrepreneurs of Pipeline’s 2012 class and a networking reception. It culminates in the Innovator of the Year dinner, where Pipeline will hand out awards — including the award for which the event is named — and unveil the entrepreneurs that have been chosen for the program’s 2013 class.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

  • Daytime – Pipeline member pitches
  • Afternoon – Conversations with national judges
  • 6 p.m. – Networking reception
  • 7:30 p.m. – Innovator of the Year dinner

The daytime and afternoon events, which will take place at the Muehlbach Hotel’s Imperial Ballroom, are free to attend. The networking reception and dinner, held at the Midland Theatre, require tickets to attend. People interested in information about purchasing tickets and tables are asked to contact Pipeline’s Nora Freyman

For those unfamiliar with Pipeline, the six-year-old program accepts 10-12 high-growth entrepreneurs per year from a variety of backgrounds. Those entrepreneurs come together for three-day modules each quarter and the Innovator of the Year event, plus a variety of other functions throughout the year. Pipeline aims to facilitate interaction between the entrepreneurs in its current class but also offers those entrepreneurs access to past Pipeline participants and a network of advisors, mentors, service providers and more.
