Lean Startup Conference watch party – Monday, 11 a.m.

The Lean Startup Conference brings together innovators from startups and established companies alike to share lessons for building profitable lean organizations. A trip to the Bay Area isn’t a prerequisite for a prime seat to view the event. In six cities across the Silicon Prairie, Lean Startup enthusiasts are hosting official parties to watch a live stream of the event.

Omaha Coffee and Startups Meetup – Tuesday, 9 a.m.

Omaha – Legends Comics and Coffee (5207 Leavenworth St.)

If you have a startup, work at a startup, or just like talking about startups, come and join us for some coffee and conversations. This is a monthly event starting at 9AM on the first Tuesday of each month.

Startup Ames Meetup (first gathering) – Tuesday, 7-9 p.m.

Ames, Iowa – CoLab (704 East Lincoln Way)

The Startup Ames Meetup is about educating, inspiring and connecting Ames area entrepreneurs. Each month will provide education and inspiration from experienced entrepreneurs in the community, followed by local startups pitching their ideas, companies, and challenges with a goal of getting feedback and ideas from the community audience. This event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.

1 Million Cups Des Moines – Wednesday, 9 a.m.

West Des Moines – Green Grounds Cafe (117 5th St.)

Developed in Kauffman Labs for Enterprise Creation, and refined by a dedicated community of entrepreneurs in Kansas City, we have created an educational program that holds the promise to empower, grow and activate your community of entrepreneurs. Each week 1 Million Cups will showcase two startups from the Des Moines area at Green Grounds Cafe in Valley Junction.

1 Million Cups Kansas City – Wednesday, 9 a.m.

Kansas City, Mo. – Kauffman Labs (4801 Rockhill Road)

Kauffman Labs for Enterprise Creation created 1 Million Cups (1MC) as a simple way to engage entrepreneurs in the Kansas City community. Each week, the 1MC program offers two local upstarts an opportunity to present their companies to a diverse audience of mentors, advisors, and entrepreneurs. Presenting this week: Stand Up for Good and Board Jupiter.

Gallup EAS 2012 Impact Summit – Thursday, 10-11:30 a.m.

Omaha – La Vista Conference Center (12520 Westport Parkway)
