Global Entpreneurship Week activities in Kansas City wrap up this weekend with Startup Weekend Kansas City, which runs tonight through Sunday at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation (4801 Rockhill Road).

For those who can't make it to the Kauffman Foundation tonight, event organizers are providing a live stream of the evening's events, beginning at 7 p.m.

Taking place in Kansas City for the sixth time, Startup Weekend is an event designed to provide participants the experience of launching a business over the course of one weekend.

Tonight's broadcast begins at 7, and things kick into high gear at 8, when participants deliver 60-second pitches for business ideas. Teams will form in support of a handful of the most popular ideas, and they'll spend all of Saturday and most of Sunday building on those ideas in preparation for Sunday night pitches.

Watch the embed above to get a glimpse of the opening evening and stay tuned to Silicon Prairie News throughout the next few days for more from Startup Weekend Kansas City.
