TEDxLincoln to explore “Wide Horizons, Open Minds” Thursday

Eastern Nebraska will play host to its second independently organized TED event inside of a week when TEDxLincoln returns Thursday. The second-year conference, which runs from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at NET (1800 North 33rd St.) will focus on the theme "Wide Horizons, Open Minds."

Sixteen speakers, ranging from educators and entrepreneurs to a clinical psychologist and a beatboxing expert, are confirmed for the event. The speakers will discuss subjects like learning, personal growth and self-actualization.

Tickets cost $50 and can be purchased online. More information, including details on the 16 speakers, is available on the TEDxLincoln website and Facebook page
