The 10 teams of the inaugural Startup Weekend Lincoln are in the homestretch. All that stands between those teams and the finish line of a whirlwind weekend is tonight’s closing pitch session, which we will broadcast live starting at 6 p.m.

Each team will take four minutes to present its concept and then will field a few questions from a panel of judges — Seth Meranda, Mark Crawford, Monte Froehlich, Alice Dittman and Chuck Norris — comprised of leaders from Lincoln’s business and technology communities. The judges will then take time to deliberate before doling out awards at night’s end.

The video feed, courtesy of Startup Weekend facilitator Shane Reiser‘s computer, may not be exactly HD quality, but the quality of ideas on display should more than make up for the grainy feed. Below is a look at the 10 teams slated to pitch tonight, in the order that they’re schedule to present.

(Note: Descriptions are courtesy of the teams, except where noted with an asterisk. Some team names have been updated since yesterday’s check-in.)

**Update** The pitches are wrapped up and the judges’ deliberation is complete. The results of the inaugural Startup Weekend Lincoln are as follows:

  • First place: Stir List
  • Second: Campus Talq and rDempt
  • Third: Fiscal Circles
  • Honorable mention: Sebastian and EcoHome

That’s all for tonight. Check Silicon Prairie News tomorrow for more extensive coverage of the event.

The presentations

StirList – Create a playlist of recipes. Follow, share and collect recipes from friends, experts and strangers to form your StirList. Using genres of food based on diets, medical conditions and personal preferences, knowing what is for dinner makes life easier and healthier.

Fiscal Circles – Fiscal Circles is a social website developed to empower consumers through tailored strategies for managing money smarter. When users register on fiscalcircles.com they gain access to real-time comparisons of their personal finances to that of other users like them and even in the same social circle. They can then use this information to identify areas of improvement and see how they measure up.

Paper Doll – We are creating a website where users upload pictures of everything in their wardrobe, and then the user can make outfits, store them, and pre-select outfits for the next day, week, or month. It saves the user time because advanced planning will make it easier to choose outfits, and having all their clothes in digital form will allow them to plan outfits during their commute or while waiting in line. It will save them money because they will be able to take advantage of what’s in their closet—no more “I don’t know if I have something to match this new skirt, so I better buy a top just in case” or sweaters wasting away in the back of closets, forgotten.

EcoHome – Our mission is to be the premier provider for services and products to reduce home energy use which will help our global environment and reduce home energy expenses.

Sebastian – Software designed to teach music through tone recognition*

GetBackers.co – A customizable crowdfunding platform. Allows complete customization of your fundraising campaign. Add the features that you and your backers want, and leave out the rest that get in the way.

Primo – Create an online presence for restaurants without the need for a designer

rDempt – rDempt connects losers and finders of physical items. Finders of an item with an rDempt label can do the right thing and get paid for it too. Losers redeem their tangible items below the cost of replacement and get their priceless sentimental items returned.

Eat Healthy At – Eat Healthy At is an app that allows consumers the ability to find healthy menu options at nearby restaurants before visiting them.

Campus Talq – A simple, social, and collaborative software solution for university students and staff.
