The University of Nebraska-Lincoln‘s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources will host Entrepreneurship and Youth Day, an event featuring an entrepreneur showcase and quick-pitch competition, from 3-6 p.m. Monday at the school’s East Campus Union (pictured above).
The event’s entrepreneur showcase will include about 30 informational booths run by student and alumni entrepreneurs, UNL faculty and university organizations.
The quick-pitch competition, which starts at 3:30, will feature a total of 30 pitches from students in three divisions: high school, college and graduate school. Students will deliver two-minute pitches and answer another minute of questions from judges as they compete for prizes that include $1,000 scholarships and iPads.

The event is part of the school’s weeklong celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Morrill Act, which brought land-grant universities like UNL into existence, making higher education more affordable to more people.
