More sights and sounds of the Iowa Startup Fair in Des Moines (Video)

Des Moines September 17, 2012 by Michael Stacy

The second Iowa Startup Fair concludes Tuesday with the Innovation Expo in Coralville. That daylong event will cap off an 11-day, statewide effort to connect Iowa's startup community with the state's broader business community.

A big piece of that effort took place last Tuesday at StartupCity Des Moines and Dwolla headquarters. There, 33 startups and about 125 visitors turned out for the Des Moines leg of the Startup Fair.

Christopher New was on hand to capture the sights and sounds of the event, and he caught up with Tej Dhawan of StartupCity Des MoinesChris Draper of Meidh and Sarah Foss of Social Money to get their thoughts on the state's second Startup Fair. Check the video above for those perspectives and more.
