The Iowa Startup Fair is back for a second go-around.

The event, which was created by the crew behind StartupIowa to help foster connections between the startup community and broader business community, will take place at three locations across the state over the course of an 11-day span later this month.

The Startup Fair includes an event from 3-6:30 p.m. on Sept. 11 at the offices of StartupCity Des Moines and Dwolla in downtown Des Moines. That event precedes the Silicon Prairie News Startup Job Crawl, which takes place at StartupCity, Dwolla and The Midland Building from 6-8 p.m.

The Iowa Lakes Corridor will get in on the Startup Fair fun, housing the Iowa Lakes Corridor Innovation Pavilion from Sept. 8-16 at the Clay County Fair in Spencer. The Iowa Startup Fair concludes on Sept. 18 with the Innovation Expo at the Marriott in Coralville.

The inaugural Iowa Startup Fair, held in January, drew more than 100 companies and 400 visitors to four sites across the state.

Details on the three local events that will comprise the second Fair — including the contact person for each — are below. Stay tuned to Silicon Prairie News for more on the event.
