Voting for our Silicon Prairie Awards closes at midnight

August 22, 2012 by Danny Schreiber

On August 30, we'll hand out 12 trophies* to the winners of the Silicon Prairie Awards. (*Not actual size.)

Today is the final day to help select the 12 winners of our inaugural Silicon Prairie Awards. Over the past two months, we gathered nominations from the public, held a selection committee vote to choose finalists and opened a vote for the public to weigh in on the winners. The voting closes at midnight.

Tomorrow, we'll turn it back over to our selection committee for the final say, and then on August 30, we'll announce the winners live onstage in the Joslyn Art Museum's Witherspoon Concert Hall (above) in Omaha.

Tickets, starting at $25, are still available for the event, which includes an opening reception, keynote from TechStars founder David Cohen and a closing party. From startup founder to friends and family of an enthusiast, all are invited to join us for a fun night celebrating the region's startup community.
