Startup Weekend Omaha returning Sept. 21-23 to The Mastercraft

Omaha May 16, 2012 by Michael Stacy

Startup Weekend will make its fourth appearance in Omaha from Sept. 21-23, the event's organizers announced earlier this month.

Startup Weekend Omaha will take place at The Mastercraft Building (1111 N. 13th St.), where Omaha's first two Startup Weekend events were held.

During Startup Weekend, teams devote 54 hours to building a web or mobile application that could form the basis of a business. The event starts Friday evening, when participants gather and introduce ideas for startups. They then spend Saturday and Sunday working in teams to bring a handful of those initial ideas to fruition. Things conclude on Sunday night, when teams pitch to a panel of judges.

Details about tickets and speakers aren't available yet, but stay tuned to Silicon Prairie News and the Startup Weekend Omaha blog for more details as the event draws closer.
