In line with its mission, KANEKO recently launched a MindMixer site to carry on the conversation that happen around its events.

Our Big Omaha venue partner, KANEKO, is not only providing a physical space for attendees to gather this year, but an online space, as well. Found at DiscussCreativity.com – a site available to non-Big Omaha attendees, too – users can either participate in a topic of discussion or post one themselves. Say, for example, you had thoughts to share about Ted Rheingold's experience of working with a spouse or Seth Goldstein's point about raising money when you can versus when when you need to, DiscussCreativity.com is a place to those conversations.

To provide this online forum, KANEKO has utilized the platform of Omaha-based MindMixer, a startup that began working with city governments but has now branched out to serve other verticals. And KANEKO has plans to offer it MindMixer site to more than Big Omaha.

"It's a site to foster creativity discussions about KANEKO events," Dr. Jim Linder, interim director of KANEKO, recently told Silicon Prairie News. "It will help speakers engage with event-goers."
