Submit a video response to The Kauffman Foundation contest question for a chance to win a ticket to Big Omaha. Contest ends at 5 p.m. May 1, so loosen up your chops and get going. Good luck and Godspeed.
Update April 30 – We’re now accepting written entries. See our post: “Win a Big Omaha ticket with a written or recorded entry by Tuesday“.
The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, our premier sponsor of Big Omaha 2012, will grant one lucky entrepreneur a ticket to our sold-out show taking place May 9-11.
Thanks to our sponsor
The catch? On video, share why you want to attend Big Omaha and answer this Kauffman Foundation contest question: “What does participating in an entrepreneurial community mean to you?” To enter, applicants must create a VYou video entry explaining why they take the cake and should find themselves “Charlie Bucket” among this year’s Big Omaha crowd.
The deadline to complete an application is 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1.* It’s up to you to make your video response stick out. We expect some will be hilarious, some smart and some outright bizarre. When we announce our winner next week, we’ll be highlighting a few of the best. The winner will be notified on Wednesday, May 2 through their VYou account. (The fine print: The winning entrant will be responsible for all travel expenses. If you’ve already purchased your Big Omaha ticket, you are still welcome to enter the competition, if you win, you’ll be reimbursed.)
The Kauffman Foundation, based in Kansas City, is a global leader in the research and development of entrepreneurial economies. Through their role with Big Omaha, Kauffman helps challenge the community to think about what they’re passionate about and how they can change the world and impact others.
