EntreFest! returning March 8-9 to showcase entrepreneurship in Iowa

The fifth annual EntreFest! conference is set to “highlight the thriving world of entrepreneurship in Iowa” March 8-9 in Ames. 

The event, which will take place at the Gateway Hotel and Conference Center, features speeches, networking events and breakout sessions on subjects including New Technology Tools, Why Search Engine Optimization is Important, How to Keep Customers Rushing Back for More, How to Harvest Profits without Sacrificing Value and Statewide Resources to Help Your Business Succeed. 

Kelly McDonald, the author of “How to Market to People Not Like You,” will deliver the keynote. Kelly Boon, an entrepreneur and the owner of CHAOS (Creativity Humor And Other Stuff), will serve as the featured capstone presenter.

The staff of MyEntre.net coordinates EntreFest!. In conjunction with the event, Dream Big Grow Here is hosting the finals of its statewide contest, which Silicon Prairie News covered covered last summer. Seven winners of regional Dream Big Grow Here events will compete the evening of March 8 for a $10,000 grand prize. More information on the finals of the contest is available on its website.
