What a year it's been in news for the Silicon Prairie. We're in the process of rounding up our top 10 most read and biggest stories of the year, but as we prepare to publish those we set aside some of them for a little fun, the inaugural SPN 2011 News Quiz.

We've done our best to make it tough, but here's a hint: all the answers can be found in our archived content from the past 12 months (psst… there's a search bar in the upper right). We challenge you to take it without looking anything up.

The quiz will close to entries at midnight on Thursday, Dec. 29, and on Friday, Dec. 30 we'll post the top scores – bragging rights are at stake – and the answers. Good luck!
