As we hit the homestretch of 2011, we’ll continue to take time to celebrate the accomplishments of the Silicon Prairie community on Silicon Prairie News, but we’re already deep in planning our events of 2012.

We’re very excited for what’s in store for our fourth annual Big Omaha – we’ll kick it off the evening of Wednesday, May 9 and wrap it up the night of Friday, May 11. Through reviewing the feedback from attendees, speakers and sponsors from 2011, the team at Silicon Prairie News is spending the “off season” working to identify ways that we can continue to refine the event and deliver something even greater by the time May arrives.

Joining us in the journey for the fourth year are the amazing teams of Oxide Design Co., the Omaha design firm that’s behind the Big Omaha brand and identity since its beginning, and Malone & Company, the Omaha photography and video studio that’s provided us with the timeless images and videos of the new experiences each year. (Have you checked out their gorgeous portrait photos of our 2011 speakers?)

Be on the look out for more details in early 2012, but for now, make sure to block out May 9-11 for Big Omaha 2012.
