A recent change to Sojern’s corporate headquarters on its CrunchBase profile isn’t an indication of any larger changes, the company says.

The profile was updated on Nov. 24 to show that Sojern, a travel marketing company that was founded in Omaha, is now headquartered in San Francisco. But in a phone conversation Friday, Susan Booth, Sojern’s director of marketing, said to expect the continuation of
“business as usual” from the company despite that change.

“That’s pretty much just a logistics thing,” Booth said, explaining that CEO Mark Rabe, who joined the company in April, and a couple of the company’s other executives are based in San Francisco. “With Mark being out there and several VPs out there, it just seemed to make more sense.”

Booth said the majority of Sojern’s employees, which number about 50, are still based in Omaha. She said about 75 percent are in Omaha, another 15 percent are in San Francisco, and a handful are scattered between Sojern’s offices in Atlanta, Chicago and New York.

“You know, it wasn’t like it was a big major decision to do that,” Booth said of the profile update. “It just makes sense … with Mark being there.”
