It hasn’t quite been two weeks since we announced Des Moines’ first Startup Job Crawl, which takes place Nov. 16 along Sixth Avenue downtown, and we’re happy to share the idea is growing. In addition to the 14 startups and other organizations originally signed up to participate, we’ll be joined by three others from outside the area:

Fresk Interactive – Creators of interactive applications for large touchscreen panels and related technologies

Craftly – A soon-to-launch startup seeking to be “the place to buy and sell handmade goods socially”

T8 Webware – Software company creating applications and products for small community banks and credit unions nationwide

The Startup Job Crawl is up to nearly to 40 registered students joining us from seven colleges and universities. Iowa State University still leads with the most registrations. In addition to students representing five schools in central Iowa, students from the University of Northern Iowa and Northwest Missouri State are making the drive in.

There is still time to join in on the fun.
