Starting at 10 a.m. today, the Brainzooming Group and the Social Media Club of Kansas City are set to release the findings from their brainstorming session for the Building the Gigabit City initiative.

The initial brainstorming session, which took place on Oct. 3, focused on how Kansas City can leverage the ultra high-speed internet that Google Fiber will bring to town to make a difference in areas like schools, medicine, libraries, the urban core, suburban living and culture. The event generated more than 1,000 ideas, touching on everything from elementary schools to elder care. Those have been distilled down to a more focused collection of thoughts and will be presented today. Tune in to hear all about it.
