The coffee has been poured and the laptops are heating up, the second day of Startup Weekend Kansas City is well underway with 12 teams building out the ideas pitched Friday night. Following the pitches, the more than 30 individuals that pitched ideas held up or their idea on a poster board for a voting session – if a participant liked an idea, they added one of their three allotted sticky notes to the poster board. The ideas that received the most votes or had a team that formed around them were then solidified as the 12 teams of the fourth Startup Weekend Kansas City, taking place through Sunday evening at Cerner Innovations Campus.

The voting begins

Participants with ideas persuade others to place one of their three votes for their ideas on their poster board

Following the voting, participants with the highest-voted ideas stood in the front of the room to recruit team members
