Today we’re announcing two more amazing speakers to the Thinc Iowa slate. Please help me welcome Andy Murray and Doug Olson to the lineup!

Andy Murray is the founder and chairman of Saatchi & Saatchi X, a world-wide advertising network. (Left, photo courtesy of Murray.)

Andy is a serial entrepreneur specializing in startups and helping people jump start their dreams. In fact, Andy is in the midst of launching a new startup, Mercury 11, to mentor entrepreneurs with disruptive ideas. Like our organization, he has a passion for building companies, and helping people with courage take the plunge to achieve their dreams.

We’re thrilled to have Andy join the conversation and the passion and experiences he brings will provide us with new insights and ways to shape our ideas.

The second speaker is Doug Olson, a partner director of development for Microsoft’s Expression Studio, a suite of creative design and media applications. (Left, photo courtesy of Olson.)

As a senior leader in the Expression team, Doug drives both development as well as user experience across the product portfolio. Doug has over 16 years of leadership experience in building and investing in companies as an entrepreneur and brings to Microsoft an extensive background in inspiring, driving and participating in the development of foundational products in the interactive media and graphic design market. A passionate advocate for innovation and economic development in the Midwest, Doug is responsible for development teams located in Redmond, Wash. and a studio headquarters in St. Paul, Minn.

With the addition of Andy and Doug as presenters, we have worked to curate an insightful lineup of the best minds in the industry to participate in the conversation around startups and corporations engaging in an informative dialogue.
