Pipeline announced this week that applications are now available for the first regional class of its entrepreneurial fellowship. As we reported in April, Pipeline, a five-year-old, Kansas-based program for innovative, high-growth entrepreneurs, is expanding its focus from Kansas to the Midwest a result of budget cuts in Kansas and a subsequent $800,000 challenge grant from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation

On Pipeline’s website, interested entrepreneurs can learn more about the program or start an application. The website includes a list of applicant qualifications that are not required but are encouraged:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum)
  • Currently running/launching a technology business in the Midwest
  • At least three years of business or scientific management experience
  • Ability to take feedback and integrate advice and counsel into his/her work
  • Willingness to work toward scaling/growth in his/her business
  • Ability to manage uncertainty and ambiguity and to take measured risk
  • Strong interpersonal and business communication skills
