Chris Pirillo capped off his trip home to Des Moines with a meetup at Amici Espresso downtown on a beautiful late-summer evening Monday. A group of about 35 people came out to visit with Chris over the course of nearly three hours, and I was able to snag a few photos near the start of the meetup. Chris met with friends new and old and discussed topics that ranged from Chris’ GnomeDex conference to the local entrepreneurial climate in Des Moines in 2001 versus today to ideas around commercializing the Iowa Communications Network.
