You’re looking for events? On the Silicon Prairie? This week? Well, shucks. We really wish we could help you with that, but …

OK, clearly we’re not fooling anyone here. You’ll have to pardon the unconvincing poker face, but we’re a tad excited about the events scheduled on the Silicon Prairie this week. Perhaps you’ve heard us mention Big Omaha a time or 87 in recent weeks. Well, the conference takes place this week, and even if you didn’t snag a ticket to the main event, there are parties open to the public on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.

Combine that Big Omaha fiesta trifecta with a pair of events this week in Des Moines and another in Ames, and there’s no excuse for folks not to get out this week.

Details from the event websites are below followed by links to sites where you can learn more. Find more upcoming events on our event page, siliconprairienews.com/events, and submit an event for consideration to info@siliconprairienews.com.
