The first Silicon Prairie News Meetup wrapped up last night with more than 50 people in attendance at Brazen Head Irish Pub in Omaha. Many thanks to everyone who stopped by; it was great for us to reconnect with some of you and meet others for the first time.

Big Omaha tickets were a hot topic of discussion last night, breaking the ice quite nicely for continued conversation about more big things moving in the Prairie. From connecting individuals to hearing their stories and ideas, the meetup was an opportunity for us to learn more about what’s going on in the community.

With the great showing last night, we plan to continue these meetups in Omaha and begin holding them in other cities across the Silicon Prairie. In the coming weeks, we’ll have information on future meetups, so make sure to stay tuned.

If you have any suggestions or feedback on how we can improve the next meetup, please leave a comment below. We’d love to see these meetups continue to improve.

Also, if you missed the meetup last night or missed one of the Silicon Prairie News team members you were hoping to speak with, feel free to reach out to the team at info@siliconprairienews.com.
