Big Omaha Video Series: Tony Hsieh of ‘Delivering Happiness’ & Zappos
Today, we're releasing the last presentation in our video series from Big Omaha 2010! This video features Tony Hsieh, Zappos CEO and author of the New York Times bestseller "Delivering Happiness". When Tony confirmed that he'd be able to make Big Omaha 2010, we all knew we were in for a treat.
Tony shared many of the details around what has made the Zappos organization a case study for how to enable an amazing sense of company culture and loyalty. Some of the areas he discussed include how Zappos pays new employees $2,000 to quit, the goal in making customer service the responsibility of the entire company, not just a single department, and their focus on company culture as the #1 priority.
A special thanks to Tony Hsieh for making the event a special one. I encourage you to reach out to him via Twitter, @Zappos, and tell him thanks for delivering the happiness and books to everyone who attended!
Now that we've released the final video in the series from 2010, it's time to go back and review all of your favorites at siliconprairienews.com/bigomaha/2010.
